Techart GT Street RS Is 911 GT2RS Killer Heading To Geneva

Getting a hold of a turbo S and tuning it beyond even GT2 RS power levels the new Techart GT Street RS has the famous Porsche tuner. The public debut of the model will be at Geneva Motor Show and the Techart only intends to build ten of these mean machines. Twin-turbocharged flat-six engine pumps out 760 horsepower and 679 pound-feet of torque under the rear deck. Techart estimates that GT street can reach 62miles per hour in 2.5 seconds and 124 mph in 8.1 seconds while for comparison the GT2 which has 690 hp and 553 lb-ft. 

Covering areas like the front splitter, fenders, side inlets, rear wing and more there are eye-catching trim. Coming from using a random arrangement of the carbon strands in the composite material the exposed carbon fiber on the GT street RS features an unusual pattern. Around its center-lock wheels, Techart even uses the stuff on the aero rings. The rear wings adjust itself and the front spoiler have an active element that tweaks the airflow to the radiators. For the better flow into the engine compartment, the fender intakes at the back are the larger and there’s a ram-air scoop on the deck, and there are NACA ducts in the hood to send air to the breaks. On the sections of the door panels and seat cushions, the company uses virgin wool and the Techart features the usual mix of leather and Alcantara. To save weight there is gorilla glass to the rear window and the rear side pieces.
